Very careful consideration is given to the detail of the quality of all aspects of our kindergarten environment to ensure that it is beautiful and gentle on the eye, ear and all the senses. The physical space is designed to be home-like and as free from exterior distraction as possible. There is a nature table, which follows a seasonal theme, and the decorations are also seasonal and displayed with moderation, using soft material and pastel colours. There is a quiet corner, a home corner, an area for floor play and building large constructions, an area for the activity and snack tables and chairs. The kitchen area is partitioned but within the room which enables children to be involved in the cooking of their lunch and snacks. We have a separate resting space for those who need a nap during the day.
We have close links with Thomas Hall School. Children are able to see the older children going about their school day when out in the garden. This allows for a smooth transition into school when the time comes if you choose Thomas Hall School.
There is 2 hour free parking in the layby on Cowley Bridge Road at the gate to the school. You can then walk up the driveway into the school. Our kindergarten is on the left once you reach the top of the driveway. Outside of main school hours you can use the school carpark which is at the top of the driveway for drop off and collection.
